Questions

Common questions

How do I get a quote?

Tell us what you are shipping, where it is now, where it needs to go, the size or weight and when it is ready. Use the chat on this page, WhatsApp or Telegram @transaxisgroup, or your customer account. We reply with a written quote listing every charge.

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL (full container load) means you book a whole 20ft or 40ft container for your cargo. LCL (less than container load) means your goods share a container with other shipments, and you pay only for the space you use. LCL suits smaller shipments; FCL is usually better value from around 13–15 cubic metres.

Do you offer air freight?

Yes. Air freight suits urgent, high-value or time-sensitive cargo. It is priced by chargeable weight, which is the higher of the actual weight and the volume weight.

Can you handle customs clearance?

Yes. We prepare and check export and import documents and work with licensed customs agents at origin and destination. We tell you in advance which duties and taxes to expect.

Which documents do I need to ship?

Usually a commercial invoice, a packing list and a bill of lading or air waybill. Some goods also need a certificate of origin, a permit or a conformity certificate. We check the full set before your cargo leaves.

How long does shipping take?

It depends on the route, the carrier and whether the cargo is transhipped on the way. Every quote includes the expected transit time and the next sailing or flight date.

Is my cargo insured?

Carriers have limited liability by law, so we recommend cargo insurance for the full value of every shipment. Ask us and we will arrange cover before departure.

Why should I create an account?

Every account gets a dedicated account manager and a private chat for questions, quotes and orders. Your company and delivery details stay on file, so new bookings take minutes.

Are there goods you cannot ship?

We do not ship weapons, ammunition, drugs, counterfeit goods or anything illegal at origin, transit or destination. Dangerous goods, food, medicines and chemicals need prior agreement and the correct permits. Every shipment is screened against sanctions and export-control rules.
